🥃 Eau-de-vie tasting in the Vosges – Distillerie Jos. Nusbaumer (50 min)

A must-visit artisanal distillery

Since 1947, Distillerie Jos. Nusbaumer has been preserving the art of traditional distillation in the small village of Steige. Their eaux-de-vie and liqueurs (wild raspberry, génépi, mirabelle…) are distilled in copper stills using a rare and time-honored process. The guided tour and shop are absolutely worth the detour.

Just 10 minutes from La Maison des Vosges, Brasserie L’Opercule brews artisan beers with care and purpose. What makes them unique? A secondary fermentation with local honey, bringing subtle aromas and a sustainable approach. Brewery tours are offered every Friday or by appointment.
